Nyfosa’s vision is to be the property company in Sweden that is the best at creating value. We believe systematic sustainability work creates the best conditions to do good business, just as a focus on the business contributes to sustainable property ownership.

Reducing the negative impact that our operations and value chain have on the climate means we have to work following a long-term perspective, which can likewise be used in Nyfosa’s transaction-based operations. We therefore always manage our properties based on long-term ownership. We shoulder our responsibility as a landlord, employer, business partner, lender as well as to our shareholders by taking a range of measures, which include following the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact for corporate sustainability.

Nyfosa has a clear focus on the work of increasing energy efficiency in the property portfolio. The aim is to reduce CO2 emissions and at the same time increase profitability through reduced energy consumption. We work in a structured way, building by building, to identify the correct measures and investments.

Sustainability certification
By 2025, properties corresponding to 50 percent of the property value will have sustainability certification and 100 percent by 2030.

Streamlined consumption
By 2025, energy consumption per sqm will be reduced by 10 percent compared with 2020.

Carbon emissions
Nyfosa will act to minimize the operation’s carbon emissions.

The global sustainability goals are a comprehensive guide to our sustainability work, what we focus on and how we measure our results.

Our operational is based on SGBC’s framework for environmental certification of properties.

We stand behind the UN Global Compact’s ten principles for sustainable enterprise.
