Nyfosa’s corporate governance is based on the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance, known as the Code. Through good corporate governance and transparency, we create a stable relationship with our shareholders and other stakeholders. This also contributes to strengthening confidence in our company. In addition to the Code, corporate governance is based on Swedish legislation, the Nasdaq Stockholm Regulations for issuers and other rules and guidelines to which the company is subject.

Policies
Nyfosa is to become a responsible player and a modern property owner. Therefore, the company continuously evaluates how the business can contribute to a sustainable society. As a basis for this work, the board has adopted eight policies that highlight and specify what measures Nyfosa will take in its operations, as well as the goals the organization strives for. Some of these policies are public and can be read by everyone on the company website. Others are only accessible by company employees, board and auditors via the company intranet.
Anonymous whistle-blower function
Our employees have an important role to sound the alarm if they are suspicious of something going on in our business that violates our ethical guidelines according to our Sustainability Policy.

Employees are first encouraged to speak with their manager. If they want to stay anonymous, we offer a secure channel for reporting and dialogue through our whistle-blower function.
Environmental responsibility
Nyfosa strives to continuously develop our work regarding the environment. Therefore, we have an Environmental Policy that is adopted annually by the board. It is the Group Management that is responsible for compliance with this policy, which is maintained through daily contact with the management organization and through a central control function that monitors that all major investments comply with the policy.

By recruiting and developing motivated and experienced employees with solid expertise, Nyfosa creates an efficient, well-adapted and market-oriented organization. Nyfosa also conducts a work environment training for all employees who have a personnel responsibility. The focus of this training is on the employer’s responsibility for the working environment.
Sustainability Report
Nyfosa’s work regarding sustainability is reported every year as an integral part of the annual report. The Sustainability Report follows the guidelines of the international organization Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and has been prepared in accordance with GRI Standards at the application level Core.
